Jack Dever custom 98 Mauser 30-06. Jack was one of my favorite rifle smiths until his passing a few years
ago. Jack was a bench rest shooter and past Shuetzenfest RF champion.
He was a noted builder of fine fancy grade Mausers as well as utility
hunting guns. I am selling this one for his son. It is a nice
lightweight 98 Mauser with German proofs. Marked S/42G on top of
receiver. Ramped front sight, silver soldered on. 3 leaf express rear.
According to Jacks notes this one is built with a Bliss Titus CM #3
24"barrel and Timney trigger. The barrel is marked Bliss Titus 30-06.
Camoflauge synthetic stock (Jack used Brown stocks. I think that is what
this one is). Stock has a few chips in the paint. The matte blue is
excellent. I may just keep this one. $1795
Here is a neat old 1907. The blue is near mint and I suspect it is a reblue. The stocks have been refinished and the common cracks have been repaired. I bought it out of the estate of a Winchester self loader collector. It has the 10 round mag. I have fired it and it shoots fine. It is really better looking than my pics show. I have some brass I will throw in. $549

Winchester 70 long action 25-06 custom by Garrett Accur Lt of Fort Collins Colorado. Accur Lt was best known for their desirable composite stocks. They have been out of business for several years now. I bought this used around 2005. I killed an Antelope with it near Seminoe resevoir Wyoming in 2006 at just under 400 yards. I was getting sub MOA groups out of it with factory Remington 120 grain bullets. Matte blue action, 22" stainless barrel with target recessed crown. Barrel is marked "Garrett Accru Lt 25-06 Rem". It is in one of Accur Lts stocks which has many chips and scrapes in the painted finish but is structurally sound. LOP measures approximately 13.5". Would be real easy to repaint or duracoat.It is a little dusty and dirty but in good shape. It is topped with a Pentax 30 6-24x50 30mm tube scope with ballistic plex reticles (Fine duplex with has marks on the bottom reticle) with lens covers mounted with Warne Maxima bases and rings. The scope IS NOT included but can be purchased for $300 additional. Checking the online scope retailers I found this scope from $600-$750. I shoot a 7mm mag nowadays and this one hasn't been out of the safe in 3-4 years. $999 (without scope)
